The 2021 Kia Forte is offered in five trim levels; FE, LXS, GT-Line, EX and GT. Other than the GT, all are powered by a 2.0L Inline 4-cylinder engine, which creates 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. The engine features dual continuously variable valve timing, which helps provide responsiveness over a wide range while enhancing fuel economy. The FE trim offers a choice between a 6-speed manual transmission or an intelligent variable transmission, while the LXS, GT-Line and EX come standard with the IVT. The Forte's 2.0L engine paired with the IVT offers a combined fuel efficiency of 35 mpg. The entry level Forte FE comes nicely equipped for the low starting price.
